Chris, the person behind Cheers to Good Beers, holding a pint

Hi, I’m Chris, welcome to my corner of the internet dedicated to one of life’s simple pleasures: a good beer.

This site started as a personal project to track every beer I try, rate, and (usually) enjoy. What began as a spreadsheet of tasting notes has grown into a full catalog of ratings, covering everything from crisp lagers to hop forward IPAs to the occasional adventurous sour. Each entry gets a rating out of 10, honest comments, and a note on whether it’s worth buying again.

Heads up, some of my reviews are pretty basic. This isn’t a professional beer blog, it’s really just an online beer diary I keep for myself. Sometimes a beer gets a few detailed tasting notes, other times it just gets “good, would drink again.” That’s fine by me, the point was always to remember what I’ve tried, not to impress anyone.

I do have one rule though: only the first two beers of the day get reviewed. Nobody needs my opinion on beer number twelve, when everything tastes like the bees knees and my typing has gone downhill. This is meant to be an honest record, not a drunk one.

I’m not a certified beer expert, just someone who likes trying new things, keeping notes, and occasionally nerding out over the details (type, ABV, country of origin, you name it).

If you’re looking for beer recommendations from someone who actually drank the beer and wrote it down, you’re in the right place. Cheers!
